She was married to Mr Graf about 22 years ago, he being her third husband. For about 25 years she kept the Traveller's Rest Hotel at Tarampa, but she and her husband lived during the past seven years at West Ipswich. She was 73 years of age at the time of her death. She leaves three brothers and one sister- namely Messrs Andrew Schlecht of Tarampa; George Schlecht of Toogoolawah; Hans Schlecht of Brisbane and Mrs Manthy of Tarampa. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon, the Rev C Casey of St Mary's Presbtery, conductiog the service" - Queensland Times 15 Mar 1915.

For nearly 50 years the late Mr. Graf had lived in the West Moreton district, and had won a very large circle of friends who will, be sorry to learn of his passing. He was born in Switzerland 75 years ago, and while quite a young man sailed for Queensland by the sailing ship "Fredaberg." Arriving in this State over 50 years ago he proceeded to the Darling Downs where he worked for several years, and later took up land at Meringandan, on the Downs. In 1876 he went to Tarampa, and besides carrying on farming pursuits he was the proprietor of a hotel at that centre.
    In 1906 he retired from active work, and came to live in West Ipswich, where lie has since resided. The late Mr. Graf is survived by two step brothers, Messrs. Carl Reber - (Brisbane) and Rudolph Reber(Dalby), his only daughter, Mrs.P Hillberg (Ipswich), and several grand-children and great-grand-children." - Queensland Times 24 Jul 1924.
