- She was the daughter of Denis Hanrahan and Annie Dalton.1
- In March 1924Bridget Hanrahan was named as a one of the beneficiaries of Denis Hanrahan's will during a court case. The Brisbane Courier reported on 12 March 1924"His Honour dealt with a matter in which a writ had been issued by Annie Brennan, one of the beneficiaries under the will of her father, the late Denis Hanrahan, claiming that there should be a sale of the land affected by the will and a distribution of the proceeds among the beneficiaries, who were : Bridget'O'Sullivan, Margaret Mary Wilkes, Annie Brennan, Lillian Hanrahan, Kathleen Durkin, and Mary Phyllis Gleeson, a minor.
Mr. J. S. Hutchéon (instructed by Messrs. Tully and Wilson, town agents for Hennessy and Hennessy, Toowoomba) appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr. George S. Webb appeared for the defendant, Mary Phyllis, Gleeson, a minor.
The court heard a motion for judgement against the defendants, Bridget O'Sullivan and the other beneficiaries, apart from the plaintiff, no defence having been entered. The motion asked : That judgment be entered for the plaintiff; (2) that the land be sold to Thomas Brennan, of Crow's Nest, for £1600, to be paid in cash (3) that John Hanrahan be ap- pointed trustee to receive such money and be appointed to convey the land to Thomas Brennan, pay costs of the present action, and pay one-sixth of the net residue to each of the beneficiaries, ex- cept the infant,Mary Phyllis Gleeson whose one-sixth should be held in trust until she attained the age of 21,
His Honour said he would make the required order, but suggested the appointment of a second trustee.
Subsequently Mr.Hutcheon stated that the parties had arranged for W. A. Gleeson to be appointed as co-trustee with Hanrahan with respect to the share of the estate, which would come to Mary Phyllis Gleeson until she attained the age of 21 years.
His Honour therefoer made the order in the terms of the notice of motion, save and except the provision above detailed for the appointment of a co-trustee for Mary Phyllis Gleeson."3 - Lillian Hanrahan died in 1941 in Brisbane, Queensland.1
