The records shows they were all born in Staffordshire.3
  • At the age of 17 years, 7 months and 20 days, Jane Jones married Sampson Chambers, son of John Chambers and Prudance Handley, on 20 May 1850 in Birmingham, Bishops Ryder, Warwick, England. Sampson was a labourer at the time of his marriage, he was of full age and lived in Novascotia Street. His father, John Chambers was shown as a labour. He signed with his X mark. Jane was shown as a spinster of full age (even though she was just 17), father John Jones a carpenter. The witnesses were George Bussett who signed with his X mark and Ann Durose. Neither Jane or Ann signed the document.4,5
