  • Ferdinand Raatz immigrated on 20 August 1873 to Queensland with Hermann Julius Raatz and Henrietta Moritz. Herman 25 and Henriette 20 travelled on the Friedburg with their daughter Auguste 3. With them were other members of the Raatz family:- Ferdinand Raatz 30, Wilhelmine 26, and her husband Charles Raatz 28. Their infant son Herman died on the journey. Also aboard the ship were Joseph and Emilie Polzin and their children. An August Raatz immigrated to Queensland on the Waroonga on 13 August 1888. He was 25.1
