Her travelling gown was of navy blue crepe de Chine, with bodice and loose panels, being braided and bended in henna, and a navy blue hat, lined with henna, and finished with, flowers in the same tones. Miss Edna Littleton (her sister) attended as bridesmaid, and wore apricot charmante, piped with black, and a black hat. Mr. Arthur. Hillenberg was best man. The reception was held at the Cafe Alexandra. The honeymoon will be spent at Brisbane and the seaside.4,5

The late Mr. Littleton had lived in the Crow's Nest district for over 40 years. He opened the Pinelands State School in 1888, and acted, as school teacher for a long period. About 1914 he suffered a severe nervous break down, and had been in indifferent health since then. He took a very active interest in the welfare of the Show Society, being patron for a number of years. He donated several cups, and was a consistent exhibitor, winning many prizes, He leaves a widow, three daughters, and six sons - Mrs. A. Davis (Esk). Nurse Edna Littleton (Brisbane), and Miss Mona Littleton (Pinelands), and Messrs. Ven., Ivor, Roy, Val, John, and Colin Littleton, all of Pinelands. The deceased'a brothers are Messrs. A. T. Littleton (Chairman of the Crow's Nest Shire Council); E, T. Littleton (Sladevlle, Warwick), Francis Harold , and Stanley Westley. His sisters are Mrs. Gowlett (Toowoomba) and Miss Grace Littleton Brisbane). The funeral took place yesterday from the Methodist Church, to the Crow's Nest cemetery.6,7,8

The late Mr. Littleton had lived in the Crow's Nest district for over 40 years. He opened the Pinelands State School in 1888, and acted, as school teacher for a long period. About 1914 he suffered a severe nervous break down, and had been in indifferent health since then. He took a very active interest in the welfare of the Show Society, being patron for a number of years. He donated several cups, and was a consistent exhibitor, winning many prizes, He leaves a widow, three daughters, and six sons - Mrs. A. Davis (Esk). Nurse Edna Littleton (Brisbane), and Miss Mona Littleton (Pinelands), and Messrs. Ven., Ivor, Roy, Val, John, and Colin Littleton, all of Pinelands. The deceased'a brothers are Messrs. A. T. Littleton (Chairman of the Crow's Nest Shire Council); E, T. Littleton (Sladevlle, Warwick), Francis Harold , and Stanley Westley. His sisters are Mrs. Gowlett (Toowoomba) and Miss Grace Littleton Brisbane). The funeral took place yesterday from the Methodist Church, to the Crow's Nest cemetery.4,5,6

  • He was a member of the Crow's Nest Rife Club in 1929; Robert and Richard were proficient marksmen and members of the Crow's Nest Rifle Club.3
  • He enlisted in the Australian Air Force on 15 January 1940 in Richmond, New South Wales. He was living at Crow's Nest at the time he enlisted and gave his next of kin as his brother, Colin Littleton. His service number was 6940. He was discharged with the rank of Corporal with the 3rd Operational Training Unit on 3 May 1946.4
  • Ivor Noel Littleton died in 1965 in Queensland.5
