Pope, the service, at the request of Mr Pope, was conducted by the Rev Richard Kerr, ex-clerk of the Presbyterian General Assembly, brother-in-law of deceased. Mr Kerr in speaking at the service held in the house, referred to the fact that he had officiated at the marriage of Mr and Mrs Graham, 32 years ago, when they took up their residence at Brooklyn, Emu Creek. The work of Mr and Mrs Graham in the district as pioneers had won the respect and esteem of a large circle of neighbours and friends and this was evidenced by the large concourse that assembled from all parts of the district at the funeral. Mrs Graham arrived in Queensland in 1880, on the Dunbar Castle (which was wrecked on the return voyage). She was then a widow and made her first home at Ramsay near Cambooya, where she lived until her marriage with Mr Graham in 1887.
