He gave his next of kin as his father, William who lived at the same address. His service number was QX9703. He was discharged on 26 January 1946 with the Rank of Gunner in the 2/10 Field Regiment. He had been captured by the Japanese and survived being a Prisioner of War at Changi.
  • At the age of 27 years, 5 months and 18 days, Keith William Hooper married Betty Florence Ball, daughter of Joseph Ball and Florence Slater, on 8 February 1947 in the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Woolloongabba.
  • He was Queensland Liberal Politician (Minister for Transport.)
  • Keith William Hooper died on 23 August 1977 in Townsville, Queensland, at age 58.
