The party separated at the railway gates, and a moment later Messrs. Schultz and Naumann heard a noise which sounded like a horse falling. On investigation they found Mr. Hannemann lying on the ground beside a small culvert. The Toowoomba Ambulance Brigade was summoned, but on arrival it was found that Mr. Hannemann was dead. He is survived by his widow and six children. The funeral was the largest seen in the district, and Pastor Prenzler conducted the service. - Wilhelmina Lubomirski died on 31 January 1989.
