Brown (Highfields) and two daughters Mrs Chas Brewer (Pinelands) and Mrs James Gibbs (Crows Nest) one daughter, Mrs Margaret Hess died a few years ago. The late Mrs Brown and Mr Brown have 47 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. The funeral took place at the Crows Nest Cemetery on Monday. The flag at the Soldiers Memorial was flown at half mast as a mark of respect."
