The late Mrs Brown and Mr Brown have 47 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. The funeral took place at the Crows Nest Cemetery on Monday. Mrs. Holden Browne predeceased her husband by some years, but there remain to mourn their loss Messrs. William, John, and Stephen Browne (sons), Mrs. Joseph Gray (Cooroy), Mrs. Tighe (Helidon), Mrs. George Loveday (Kleiniton), and two single daughters, Mr. Samuel Browne (brother), and numerous grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. O'Boyle, predeceased him."
