It was alleged that Jackson was engaged in Black Market liquor transactions involving £645, over, period of four months."
    Other newspapers reported he lived at Iredale Avenue, Cremorne, ACT at the time. Mr. Sugarman, for the Crown, said that in ten transactions Jackson made a profit of £120. He added that Jackson, while travelling around hotels to sell towels and glasses, had taken advantage of his position to obtain liquor and resell it at a profit.
