    A very pretty wedding took place at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Phillip street, on the 13th July. The Rev Pastor Gutekunst performed the ceremony. The bridegroom was Mr H E Gustafson, from Wilston [Wilsonton?] and the bride Emma Utschink, daughter of the late Mr G. Utschink from Djuan. The bride looked very pretty in her white crepe de chine wedding dress, the veil having been lent to her by her sister Mrs Williams. of Bellevue-street, Middle Ridge. Mr G Williams led the bride to the alter, while Mrs Williams shly supported her sister at the function. After the ceremony the newly married couple motored to Ede's Studio and from there adjourned to the School of of Arts Hotel for the wedding breakfast."
