In 1894 this farm was sold and they bought a farm from Mr Hartwig at Douglas where seven more children were born. In 1906 the family moved to East Cooyar where two more children were born, the last two months after his father's death. Fruit trees grown at Douglas were taken to the Mount Erin property.
