  • At the age of 19 years, Mary Jane (Bid) Hood married William George (Bill) French, son of William French and Elizabeth Baker, on 7 April 1903 in Thornville, Queensland, Australia. The marriage took place at Williams home at Thornville where he owned a farm near Bum Bum Creek. William's occupation was given as a carpenter and he was 28 years old. Mary Jane was 19, a domestic born and living at Nanango.
