    They had a total of seventeen chldren losing seven in childhood.
    After moving from Dogwood Creek back to Douglas the family finally settled at Rosalie Plains.

  • Wilhelm Hess died on 13 September 1929 in Oakey, Queensland, at age 81. Wilhelm and Emily retired to Federal Street in Oakey several years before Wilhelm's death.
