Dr. W. F. Harlin has made history in the annals of Dunwich. He stands in the unique position of being the first medical superintendent' to receive a pre sent from the inmates of the institution, as a token of their esteem and their thanks for the loving care and attention he has bestowed upon all. The sentiments of the inmates are resolved by the officers and staff of the institution, and the residents of Dunwich generally. Mr. R. A. S. Browne handed a wallet of notes to the doctor as o mark of appre ciation and a parting gift from the offi cers and staff; Dr. Harlin left Dunwich by a launch decked with flags in his honour." - Dr Francis Wilfred Harlin died in 1945 in Queensland.
