    The Boonah Methodist Church was the scene of a picturesque wedding on October 14, the bridegroom being Mr. Gustav Paul Hohenhaus (third son of Mr. W. P. Hohenhaus and the late Mrs. Hohenhaus, of Moogerah) and the bride Miss Doris Austin (daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Austin, Milford). Girlfriends of the bride had decorated the church with roses, arum lilies, and larkspurs, and the bridal couple stood under an archway formed of pink and white flowers. Rev. A. C. Tempest officiated, and Mrs. G. Grim- sev presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of white crepe de Chine, and an embossed tulle veil, caught with a circlet of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of white roses and gerberas. Miss Linda Austin (sister of the bride) was bridesmaid, and was flocked in pink crepe de Chine, with which she wore a cream picture hat. Her bouquet was com posed of pink roses and gerberas. Mr. Jack Hohenhaus (brother of the bride- groom) carried out the duties of best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at a cafe. Later Mr. and Mrs. G. P. Hohenhaus left for a tour of the Northern Rivers. They will make their future home at Moogerah."
    Dorris' sister Lynda married Gustav's brother Albert.
