He leaves a widow and four children. It appears that after unhitchlng his load two logs rolled off, and he then went to the other side of the waggon to give the remaining logs a start, when the top one rolled off that side on to him, catching him on the back of the head and neck, felling him to the ground and killing him instantaneously. He was a native of the district, his family living at Ravensbourne. He was insured under the Workers' Compensation Acts The police are making the usual inquiries, and Dr. Overeod his left to hold a post-mortenm examination. "
