Mr Frank Hennessy (of Messrs. Hennessy and Hennessy) appeared for the plaintiff and Mr. Frank Brennan appeared for the defendant. The defendant admitted the plaintiff's claim for goods sold and delivered and after hearing evidence the Police Magistrate found that the car had been used by the plaintiff, and allowed damages for the defendant amounting to £4/10/, with costs, making in total of £7/17/. Judgment for the plaintiff with costs (£5/8/7) was given, leaving a balance in favour of the defendant of £2/18/5."
