The bride who was given away by her father wore a gown of ivory satin shiminon richly beaded and finished with a folded girdle and sleeves of white georgette Her simple tulle veil was worn cap fashion caught at each side of the head with dainty sprays of orange buds and she carried a bouquet of white asters and fern, tied with satin stream ers Miss Amy Ward (cousin of the bridegroom) and Miss Vera Hartwig (sister of the bride) acted as brides maids Miss Ward wore a charming frock of white voile inlet willi bands of rich guipure lace and insertion, arid she wore a lady Betty hat to match trimmed wrth sprays of French flowers and fruit. Both bridesmaids carried posies of coloured asters and maidenhair fern tied with streamers to match their frocks Mr Andrew Hartwig (brother of the bride) carried out the duties of best man and Mr Robert Ward was groomsman After the ceremony a reception took place m the dining room the guests being received by the bride s mother Mrs J C Hartwig who wore a costume of black crepe de Chine and a hat to match. After the wedding breakfast Mr and Mr Walter Stark left for their honeymoon wluch is being spent in Brisbane. The bride travelled in a frock of deep blue taffeta caught at one side with a rosette of ribbon in a contrasting
