Greenwood was the celebrant. The bride, who was given away by her father, was attended by a sister of the groom as bridesmaid, the best man being a brother of the groom. Greenwood) and the fathers of both bride and groom."

He was discharged on 7 Jan 1917 after suffering meningitis. He had been admitted to Salisbury Island Hospital in Durban and was returned to Australia.
  • On 1 September 1917,her husband, Alfred James Davis died in Brisbane, Queensland, at age 53. Alfred appears to have been living apart from the family from around 1913. He died from chronic alcoholism and heart failure.

    She was formerly Charlotte Eleanor Fuller, daughter of the late Mr S. A. and Mrs E. J. Fuller, of Crow's Nest. Members of the CWA formed a guard of honour at the funeral which moved from the Mt. Larcom public hall on March 23, to the Mt Larcom cemetery. Messrs V. A. Leggatt, E. Carriage, W. Schneider, L. R. Stibles, C. Greenwood and W. Anderson (members of the Progressive Lodge No. 79, R.O.A.B.) were the pall bearers. The officiating clergyman was Mr Rev Lee.
    Mrs Woodrow is survived by her husband, Mr William George Woodrow; three daughters and three sons.
