The late Mr. Littleton had lived in the Crow's Nest district for over 40 years. He opened the Pinelands State School in 1888, and acted, as school teacher for a long period. About 1914 he suffered a severe nervous break down, and had been in indifferent health since then. He took a very active interest in the welfare of the Show Society, being patron for a number of years. He donated several cups, and was a consistent exhibitor, winning many prizes, He leaves a widow, three daughters, and six sons - Mrs. A. Davis (Esk). Nurse Edna Littleton (Brisbane), and Miss Mona Littleton (Pinelands), and Messrs. Ven., Ivor, Roy, Val, John, and Colin Littleton, all of Pinelands. The deceased'a brothers are Messrs. A. T. Littleton (Chairman of the Crow's Nest Shire Council); E, T. Littleton (Sladevlle, Warwick), Francis Harold , and Stanley Westley. His sisters are Mrs. Gowlett (Toowoomba) and Miss Grace Littleton Brisbane). The funeral took place yesterday from the Methodist Church, to the Crow's Nest cemetery.

Their son Frederick Baynham was born in November that year. Sometime after his birth, Jane went to work for John JOBSON, whom she later married.
  • Frederick was buried on 20 February 1900 in Cabarlah Cemetery.
  • The Methodist Church in Crow's Nest erected memorial plaques to early Crow's Nest Pioneers on the Church building and fence. Fred's name was amongst them.
