The certificated showed that Maria aged 21 born at Toowoomba adn Henri, 20 had been born in Altonia Prussia. They both lived at Meringendan at the time of their marriage. The minister was Theordore Langbecker and his wife Emma appeared to have witnessed the marriage along with Maria's sister Sophia.
