Wendore, of Roadvale), which took place at her residence on Friday morning, the 7th of September, after an illness of only four days. Her death is all the more sad, as Mrs. Beutel appeared to be in perfect health the week before, but succumbed to an attack of pneumonia. Dr. Overeud, of Crow's Nest, was in attendance on Wednesday, but unfortunately no hope was entertained of her recovery, and, despite the most careful nursing, she passed quietly away as above stated, surrounded by a num her of relatives and friends, who deeply deplore their loss, for Mrs. Beutel was a charming companion, an affectionate wife, and a loving daughter and sister. Her active friendship and many charities brought her in touch with most of the people of Ravensbourne and the surrounding district. When the sad news was heard expressions of sorrow at the untimely death of a resident so universally esteemed were general. The respect in which de ceased was held was manifested by the largely-attended funeral on the following Sunday. The remains were interred in the Ravensbourne Cemetery, the Rev. B. Bottonmley, Methodist minister, officiating at the grave. Deceased leaves a sorrowing husband and a family of nine-seven girls and two boys, the youngest being only a few days old. Much sympathy has been expressed for the family and relatives, and especially for the bereaved husband. Since the above was written l learn that the deceased’s infant son died on the 12th, the child being only 10 days old. Mr, Beutel has every body's sympathy in his double bereavement."
