They lived in Crow’s Nest for 11 years, and later moved to Glenaven where they engaged in mixed farming, dairying, and grazing. After Mr. Parton's death. Mrs. Parton remained on the property. She leaves one son— Mr. G. Parton (Kumbia), and six daughters— Mesdames A. E. Emmert (Wutul), R. H. Geraghty (Goombungee). H. E. R. Dann (Nambour). C. B. Bidgood (Nambour). E. G. Morris (Glenavon) and Miss P. Parton (Crow's Nest.)"

• Carl Friedrich Wilhelm Grawich was born on 27 February 1835 in Kulzow, Prussia.
• At the age of 25 years, 9 months and 11 days, Carl Friedrich Wilhelm Grawich married Wilhemina Beier on 8 December 1860 in Barnimscunow, Prussia.
• Carl Friedrich Wilhelm Grawich and Wilhemina Beier immigrated to Brisbane on 30 November 1863. The family arrived on the San Francisco. Carl worked on the railway at Allora, Drayton and Ballards Camp near Highfields, Toowoomba. He then purchased 80 acres of land at Aubigny in 1876 which he called Happy Valley. His great grandson and wife were still living
  there in 1994.
  
• At some stage the surname was anglosied from GRAWICH to GRAVING but only in some branches of the family (August & Amelia). The spelling is varied in a number of official records :- GRAVY,GRAY, GRAVSEND, GREWIG, GREWING.
  
• On 6 December 1912,his wife, Wilhemina Beier died in Queensland at age 75.
• Carl Friedrich Wilhelm Grawich appeared on the Electoral Roll with John Henry Grawich and Mary Ann Darr in 1917 in Happy Valley. John Henry was a farmer. His father Carl also lived on the property.
  
• Carl Friedrich Wilhelm Grawich died on 15 June 1919 in Queensland at age 84. He is buried under the name of Grawick with his wife Minnie.
• Carl was buried in St John's Lutheran Chruchyard, Oakey, Queensland.

Christian Grawich

• Christian Grawich was born on 21 May 1866 in Oakey Creek, Toowoomba, Queensland. He was a twin to Wilheminia.
• He was the son of Carl Friedrich Wilhelm Grawich and Wilhemina Beier.
• Christian Grawich died on 12 July 1867 in Warwich Railway works, Drayton, Queensland, at age 1.
• Christian was buried on 13 July 1867 in Toowoomba & Drayton Cemetery.

John Henry Grawich

• She was the daughter of Carl Friedrich Wilhelm Grawich and Wilhemina Beier.
• At the age of 14 years, 8 months and 12 days, Wilhelmina Grawich married Carl Gietzel on 2 February 1881 in Toowoomba, Queensland. They had 12 children, the youngest being born in 1901.
  
• Wilhelmina Grawich died on 1 October 1902 in Queensland at age 36.
