    Already, 30 children are absent from one school, which has an enrolment of 80. The superintendent of the Crow's Nest Hospital (Dr. J. Morrow) said last night that parents must realise that measles was not something to take lightly. Can be killer Dr. Morrow said that on the average two people in 1000 who contracted measles died of the disease. The Courier-Mail's medical correspondent (Dr. Brisben) said last night that measles could easily become a killer if such complications as broncho-pneumonia developed."
